Hill climber
« on: October 14, 2018, 04:36:54 PM »
Not a project as yet, but having a spare highly tooned XBR engine sat gathering dust and big bro having a half finished RS250 project gathering dust and then being kind of inspired by "spooky's" exploits on his trusty GN, we've decided to join forces and shoe horn the tooned xbr engine into the rs frame and go do some hill climbing.... not to sure as yet when it will get done, but it will get done. Should hopefully be a bit of a hoot to ride too...
Cheers, Michael

Sounds like a brilliant idea both!If you need any RS bits i have sorted mine out today and have loads! The builder constructed me a loft above the garage on Friday and i've spent a couple of hours today moving all the boxes of RS250 parts from the bungalow loft to the garage one. Also if you need any info about the 3 Midland hills let me know as i am a member at Shelsley Walsh and in fact was there at the very wet breakfast club in the car earlier today. I expect you'll be looking to debut at more local events (Harewood maybe?). I know i'm getting ahead of myself here but good luck -this sounds great.

Evening Joolz.... yes hopefully it will be, as you can probably see from the photos big bro has posted up the "frame" is almost complete. I have the tuned engine ready to go in, so hopefully if we can get together over winter we might just make it work. Distance is the biggest drawback. Myself and big bro live appox 40 miles apart, so we can't just "nip round" anyway think we're both up for the task so fingers crossed..... cheers, Michael
