Blimey, people still want 400/4s
« on: April 17, 2007, 08:16:28 PM »
I'm selling off all my 400/4 bits (to help pay my inland revenue bill), the auction is here.

Up to £138 with a couple of hours to go.

Sad to see them go, but needs must, etc. etc.

So why is the CB250RS front end a good mod? - Have been thinking about a disk on the K4 and it should fit on there quite easy - seem to be more about than CB500 / 550 front ends that are usually recommended?

Better calliper and it couldn't be easier, the forks (and wheel) go straight into the 400/4 yokes. Also the wheel is lighter due to the aluminium rim.

Toilet no-show entirely due to lack of transport. Until black outfit is taxed I am restricted to local working (and no, I haven't had time to sort out the charging problem on the GB).

Cheers

Ended up at £157 and the buyer will collect (which saves me some hassle).

A sad end to 25 years of 400/4 ownership - I used to love the little things.

Charging system sorted then - maybe - perhaps - ummmmmmmm.

Shame to see them go - I have never owned a 400/4 but have ridden them and think they are nice lil numbers.  Did know of a DT250 rolling chassis with a 400/4 lump in it once - eeeeek, but not quite as eeeek as the DT250 roller with the T500 lump.
