Edit: I read "tuning for speed" when I used to go to the city library once a week aged circa 14/15 (1974/75). I looked on Amazon a couple of years ago for a second hand copy. The price was ridiculous. Three figures.

This do you?

Are the underlinings and highlights yours Ian?

I love those old style "technical artist" drawings. Had a bash at that kind of thing myself, albeit on a fairly simple level.

Cheers

No, I downloaded the pdf from somewhere else (can't remember where). I'm slowly building a library of useful things on the 5GB of web space my ISP kindly gives me!

I've also started a little "hints and tips" page http://www.iansoady.org.uk/hints%20and%20tips/ which hopefully may be useful to some. All addressed to old British bikes of course although there may be some Enfield related stuff.

If you have anything you'd like to add please pass it on and I'll put it in with appropriate credits of course! I do miss the old weekly mags with their sometimes bizarre tips.

Brilliant job Ian.

Well I can pass on from first hand experience how to buy an A10 cheap as a non runner, realise it's missing the magneto centre brush and "bodge" it "temporarily" with a short 2b pencil, baco foil and a biro spring. Run it for a year then sell it to a brummy, only remembering about the pencil as he rorted off over the horizon 😂😂
