No balancer shaft on the UCE Bullet, but as noted its an unrelated design to the Himalaya.
In fact, its an unrelated design to the Iron barrel. New parts:
The entire engine
The swing arm after 2017
The loom
The frame is similar but has different lugs for engine mounts etc.
The brakes (rear before 2017 was the same)
The forks
The instruments (no ammeter or AC circuit)
The wheels (with two sizes of front).
So basically the saddle and bodywork are interchangeable.
This can be a major PITA as when you look for information some member of Relics Extinctions and Old Codgers will bang on about gapping the points with a fag packet and adjusting the levers on the brake shoes when you are all electronic/hydraulic!
65's and Electras and EFI's are inbetweens, so you effectively have 6 models of 500 Bullet from 2002 to 2017 plus the Indian and then European spec Himalayan.
I am gathering my UCE info here
