Gilera Mini-thumper
« on: December 04, 2017, 11:50:17 PM »
I couldn't resist this Gilera Arcore Special. Picked it up at the weekend along with a box of bits and a spare engine. The previous owner built it and used it off-road on his many trips to the TT and Manx and is a credit to him. 150ccs of sheer power!! Apparently less than 100 came into the UK in 125 and 150 formats during the 1970s. Quite popular in Italy I believe. I know of a few of them over here. The other photo shows the standard bike (which is now in several large lumps awaiting reassembly!).

Regards

Tony

Saw one some years ago, nice bike, good find.
Note to Self: Shiney side goes UP.
