Stafford Show October 2017

Hi all, I have received an email from Morton's asking me if I want to exhibit a bike at this year's show. What is the feeling about a Thumper club stand? I would prefer to put a bike on a stand rather than in the privateers area.

Evening Ian, yes mate I'm fairly confident of having my xbr tracker project bike done by then... even if it's not actually running. So yes let the thumper club rule I say😀🤘 plus it'll give me a bit of a kick up the jacksy to pull my finger out n get it sorted.

Hi Gareth,
I'd like to think that there's still enough interest/enthusiasm in the club to have a stand. But I would also hope that there will be enough willing hands to help both before and during.

Good evening Gareth, yes I would like to echo Ian's words in that I'm sure there's enough interest in the club to have a stand. Last years was good and certainly seemed to be received well by the passing public. I appreciate that it is you that has to do most of the leg work for it to happen so if you decide that you don't want to bother I for one would totally understand. Like I say I'm hopeful that I will have the "tracker" done certainly good enough to show, so again please count me in (especially if you're going to do the bacon butties again 😉)

I'm up for it, really enjoyed last year, and it was great to meet up with everyone, either, on the stand, camping, or calling in at the stand. So let's do it, it can't be that much hastle

Morning chaps, due to slight changes personally I will with much regret av to retract my offer of bringing down the "tracker" project bike to the Stafford show. Unfortunately it will defo NOT be finished in time. I would av loved to av taken it down as I really enjoy the show weekend but alas it is not to be. Hopefully get down in person for the day tho and see whoever is manning the stand and blag a free coffee ☕️☕️.... or two

Cheers Tim, like I say I will be pushing to get down for the day (probably Sunday) so will be gracing whoever is manning the stand with my presence and generally making a nuisance of myself. Meantime I will chip away with the tracker and keep you guys updated as I progress.
