Had a "SFC" in the garage once....

Was not mine - it had broken down and been left near home, I called the police incase it had been stolen and also offered - if the owner wished - to take it down and lock it in the shed.  Was there for about a week before he came out to collect it - much sitting and Vrummmmmmmm was to be heard before his arrival.  Not sure if it was a genuine one or home brewed - had a lovely ally tank too - mmmmmmmmmm

Do bikes get any sexier than this?

I think the SFC's styling is inspired, it's in my top five, alongside the Brough, the pre-war Red Hunter, the G50 and the Egli vincent.

And have you ever heard one? Bloddyfugginghell, they are so LOUD!

Cheers

I remember a 500 Montjuic(?) in Cardiff in the '80s.......Luverly Sound...!!!

Worked on and test rode a 750SF.....Very Nice !

Mind the Jota I tried,an early one,had right foot change.
You had to be Garth to pull in the clutch and hold the throttle open.
That also made you into a hooligan.Going up and down the box just to hear the exhaust if nothing else   :-)

Aye,

I thought they'd get a few appreciative comments! Pleased to have found the site.

Speaking Jota's, there's a brace round here that are aired in tandem by ex-racers, early some mornings. Melifluous is a polite
way to descrbe the 'notes' as they pass the house, going up through the box. Apparently, they need to be 'bossed' through the bends and the tales can be a touch lurid when re-counted over a cuppa!

Have thought a 750SF would be worth a shot but providence and 'singles' have never conspired towards it.
