Farmyard Party
« on: March 13, 2016, 09:06:55 PM »
Fantastic MAG rally, now in its 30th year. Dates are 17-19 June, at Duncombe Park, Helmsley, North Yorkshire. We used to go every year, then returned after a break last year, only to wonder, why we hadnt been for a few years. Great value and extremely well run by MAG volunteers. Over 5000 people, but very friendly, and loads to see and do. Tickets are now available, at a reduced rate until end of March. Another Thumper meet up  ;)

Tickets £30, five of us definitely going from NI so far. We will camp in Dent again, on the Thursday night, then somewhere else on the Sunday night, maybe Mason's Farm at Appletreewick  :)

Will do. Plus don't worry about postage to Quatar, if you want any of the merchandise, as I'm sure we can cover that no problem, for one of the founding members  ;)
Though what you would need a beanie hat for, in that heat  :-\

Yep, another great weekend at the Farmyard Party, along with another five thousand happy souls. Only myself and Alison on thumpers, out of our group of six bikes  :-\
Great ride out around the North York Moors on the Saturday, taking in the classic car and bike dealer/museum at Thornton le Dale. Entry, £1. Then a great feed at the Blacksmiths Arms in Lastingham, with a visit to the ancient church and creepy crypt opposite. Finished the trip with a great night at Appletreewick with Mark, Hillary, and Otto up from south Wales, and a surprise visit from SteveD  :)

And here's a couple of pics of our bikes packed and ready to leave Dent, after the usual great hospitality of Mick and Wendy at condor farm, and the giant breakfast of champions  ;)
