2016 Thumper Club Rally.

Any suggestions for this years rally? Don't all answer at once!

Steve D and myself were thinking of Llanfairfechan. Bunkhouse and camping, village with four pubs, near Conwy, with great ride outs round Snowdonia. Also its handy for us eejets from across the water. What do you think?
Plus I also have a soft spot for Mick and Wendy's at Dent.
Also, what about Fox Holes campsite at Bishops Castle?
Or should we go mad, and head all the way over to Norfolk to somewhere we've never been?

That place that starts with double L sounds good. Four pubs as well. That means, once we know what one Mark is in, we still have a choice of three.

Ah yes..... I remember it well... Wasn't that where I found out exactly how it feels to ride a block of soap around the bath..! It would be enjoyable to go back to Clan fair f£$kn again... You know... face your demons as it were..... Seriously, it would make a great place for a rally. So convenient for the ones coming from Holyhead. Count me in.... ( But don't make it TT week ).... The Classic Racing Motorcycle Club are holding a championship round at Anglesey on the 9-10 July. Would give another option to the Saturday run.

That's sounds pretty good Ron, I'd be up for that. I'm sure there'll be a bit of discussion about it at the Dragon, where a few of us will be next month

Hi Ron. I do have a good working relationship with the owners of the campsite and could possibly swing something depending on the timing.

We really do need to make our minds up on a date for the event. Some suggestions more than welcome.

Hello Steve. How are things in the Republic of Yorkshire? Like yourself, I'm all for booking things sooner rather than later, then it's sorted. The 9-10 July seems as good as any. No matter what dates are picked, they won't suit everyone. Early doors I know but maybe a show of hands from those who "intend" to go might help.

Yep, let's just go for it. There are a number of different options at Platts Farm. We could reserve one of the camping areas, we could reserve the bunkhouse etc etc. Your right, whatever date we pick, it won't suit everyone
