Just looking at you pics. I also have one of these. How do you find the seating? I never had 2 up and don't think there would be a lot of room. I am 6 ft and seem to be comfy sitting about 8 inches back from the tank. Find myself sliding about though and was thinking of altering the padding. Like the dummy silencer looks familiar

Before you alter the padding - try some chamoix leather tied to the seat or some of that non slip rubber mesh.  Has worked for me in the past.  (6 ' 3")

When you say your looking at the photos and like the dummy silencer, do you mean my length of soil pipe tool box???  :-)

I'm 5' 10" and a bit and find the Dommie really comfy for around 160 miles, then things start to get sore. Luckily that's about a tank full so rest stops give me the chance to stretch a leg. Did try a sheepskin cover but found it a pain, more recently I've tried cycling shorts and they seem to work.
Didn't you look at a Dommie seat on ebay recently?? You should have bought it, it went for a song and would have been Ideal for recovering with greater padding.

Yes I did see a seat on ebay but I think it went for about 15 plus postage so gave it a miss as I would only be taking the cover off it. I shall think on it for a week or two. Maybe a Gel cover would be good. Just bought a pair if Ginelli Exhausts from ebay ,cant wait to get those on.
