Yep, great piece of motorcycling history. First bike I ever rode (illegally, on the road at the age of 14 I'm sorry to say).

First bike I rode on the road was a Honda Benley 105 (also illegally)

Yes, a wonderful machine. I put thousands of miles on one I built out of two wrecks and over the next 5 years I put $2 worth of parts in it. Mostly rode it lying down (hand on speedo, chin on hand) flat out. Carried 16' lumber, a 32' mast, two girlfriends at once, anything. There's never been anything like the original C-100 Honda. And it really did get 175mpg or better. I saw one that had done 250,000 miles and still didn't leak oil.

First bike I rode was a lambretta - mind I did fall off of it within a few miles - probably lucky as we were heading for SIlverstone on GP Sunday and I was 15

Why toss off a building the tossers. Run it with no oil flat out or leave overnight in the sea - would sort of make sense, but throwing it off a building makes no sense to me and proves nothing in terms of longevity or use and abusability.

I sense a theme here... the first bike I ever rode on the road was also illegal :o
A Z200 though so a mini-thumper at least :)

Ah,Yes !   Having worked on,ridden and rebuilt hundreds of the things....I do have bit of a soft spot for them.
At one time The Most Stolen Motorcycle !

First bike I rode....Tuned MZ ETS 250.......Speaks Volumes,I think !
Went on to own 1 Simson 50,3 TS125/150,1 ETZ 125/150,4 Supa 5,1 ETZ 125/250 Hybrid,and a 500 Saxon Fun,CZ 250,350,2 Jawa 350 one with a chair.

Favourite machines of mine ETZ 125/150,Supa 5,500 Fun and CZ 350 plus one or two others that I have owned.
Same sort of reasons

We had an old guy, Bruce, ride one in a club I belonged to back in the 60's. On club runs, he would leave before us, ride to the same destination along the same routes. It always amazed me and other jet jockeys just how far he would get in a given time. He would always arrive at the destination without fanfare, never stepped off, and never that far (timewise ) behind us.
Near the end of the Cub's life, (yes they do die) we noticed he was having running problems, so one of our committee members went to help him. He pulled out the dip stick and it had a tar like goo on it, so he  told Bruce it needed oil to which  Bruce replied
"Why? I have never put oil in there since Ive had it, and I dont see why I should now!" The Cub must have been many years old as I remember it looking ancient when I joined up 3 years earlier.
When it did die shortly after, Bruce graduated to a CB125,  started a new career in stepping off, and he never really got the hang of riding it.
