XBR500 oil pipe banjo bolts
« on: February 01, 2014, 12:39:02 PM »
Having rebuilt the engine I have just discovered a slight oil leak from the oil pipe banjo bolt attached to the cylinder head.
I removed the engine case banjo bolt as well and discovered that the bolts are not identical - same length/thread but the oil hole in one is bigger than the other. Does anyone know which end of the pipe which banjo bolt goes? Does it matter?
 Thanks
Chris
