Investigating poor running, I've just discovered my xl185 has a different carb fitted, compared with what it says in the book. It's stamped Keihin PD65B. Does anyone know whether this can be expected to work ok with this engine with the right jetting etc or should I bin the carb and get another one. Also what carbs are compatible with this engine? The internet seems confused! Thanks everyone.
