Bike activity stopped by biological agent stop

3 days in bed only stopped by trip out to find place for an interview other half had and to go get a dog from rescue place, stop.

Found MSR was busted stop. Braze/weld between actual stove and base has gone, stop. Tried to replace on e-bay but prices stupid so had to stop, stop. Fixed with fence wire, so hope it'll stop where I put it, stop.

Well, if you've got the TLS front brake, all you need to do to make it stop convincingly is:-

a) fit the Hitchcocks heavy-duty front brake cable, outside the casquette head, and achieving a straight pull;
b) fit their improved linings front & rear;
c) correctly adjust the TLS front setup AND set both operating arms properly (this is often overlooked).

I speak from experience, as my 612cc GT cafe-racer was out-braking most of the 1960s road-going machines at the 2005 Classic Bike Mag trackday at Cadwell (especially at the nasty little chicane) - as well as out-accelerating most of the BSA Goldstars on the straights.  So there!

If you've not aleady got the TLS front brake, then a conversion is well worth it....
