Hi any body had any probs with gazelle pipes ie do you have to re jet etc .....have them fitted on mine got a flat spot at about 5000 rpm will pull through it but then it feels like its holding back . Have not had carb in bits yet but open to ideas............cheers

I'm no expert on this, but around 5000rpm is where the main jet comes into play so it sounds like you need to go up a size or maybe two on the main jet . This is often the case with aftermarket exhausts.

Just fitted new main jet size 165 as recommend on here some where. Old main jet was std size 152 slow jet is 48 so the Honda modifications to the carburettor(158 main 52 slow) and valve clearances have not been done .A job for the winter me thinks .Weather permitting will give the bike a road test tomorrow and report back with the results ....

Had a run out on the bike pulls smoothly up to 75 80 mph on the motor way so i think i have cured my flat spot , and curses at 70 no prob looking for a slow running jet now ..
