Replacement seat and handle bars
« on: August 18, 2011, 12:29:57 PM »

My bike was converted to a cafe racer style with clipon's and a single seat.

I fancy it a little more "sit up" like in this picture of a SRX600

Any idea were to get hold of a set of bars like on that bike and a replacement "Normal" seat?

Thanks

Tim

i'll swop you a 'normal' seat for your single seat..... is your existing seat using a 'normal' base with the lock?.... if so it would just be a case of changing them over.

Hi, yes the base is a normal one but there is no lock. The person who fitted it had to cut a hole in the mud guard to access the lock bar from underneath.

You could could do the same but I really would not recommend it. Perhaps you could make an access lever that did not require such drastic measures.

Here is a picture of it from my previous owner

not a problem, i'll email you a pic of the spare seat i have here. i'll modify the lock so that any key will open it. i would have had to do that anyway if i was going to use it.
