That's nasty Pat,

3 drugs and physio, steroid injections, operate! Mmmmmm!

Is a little gentle stretching from the workshop rafters a 'NO GO'?

Just hope the NHS sledge hammer doesn't break the cracked nut!

Go canny.

Bill

Not too keen on the Doc's methods myself, but in fairness, I've had the best days so far since we changed tack. Can't get refered under the NHS here for a chiropractor or osteopath and the cost of 25 quid a session is outside my budget if I went private. Hoping the physio might be helpful though. Three weeks in and all we've managed to do is control the pain during the day (nights still unbearable) but I suppose thats progress :-)

Heyho!

Aye Pat,

My commisserations, my Dad due to osteoperosis has 7 mushy bits at the bottom of his spine and had half a hip replacement with a new ball. Tramadol were the order of the day and he didn't know where he was. Cocodimol now and lump it. The spine is the b****r, hip seems to be all tickety boo. That's why I was wondering if a little self traction might help adjust the discs.

I know its alright for me to prattle on about it whilst you suffer, I'll shut up!

More book titles required? Stick it under a 'new' subject, as this may get 'lost'!

Cheers, Bill
