DR 750
« on: March 17, 2011, 09:41:01 AM »
Morning all, [Europe anyway]

Has anybody any experience of fitting a dr 650 engine in a DR 750 frame? If so any major problems to be met?

Thanks Martyn

Hi Martyn, thats a bit drastic, what's the problem with your engine?
I'm not well up on the '650 range, but I think there are a few variations that are not interchangeable, also single and twin carb heads on different models.

Thanks Dave, I think I had guessed that. but good to have it confirmed. There Is a very low mileage 650 engine on ebay which I thought might be useful. Mart

i hate to come across as a vulture, but having a dr big project on the go, im always looking for engine spares. so if you do go with the 650 motor idea, then might you consider offsetting some of the cost by selling me what remains of your 750 motor????? ;D ;D ;D

well, ive got to ask right??? ;) ;)
