Small Steps on TZRotax

Actually got out to the shed for a couple of hours and have cut the ally for the front engine mount, as with the rest of the frame I need to get it tacked together so I can take it to the man with a TIG.
Have discovered that I will need to take it all apart first as I have to drill two holes through the engine plates and they need to line up - bum!.

Oh well I also have no end of hankbushes to remove to be welded over so I guess I will do these at the same time.

Just for a giggle I was moving the bike when it started to topple towards a load of greenhouse glass - had hit another pile before and broke just the 12 sheets... trying to hold the bike I got cramp in my legs - did not know what to do - let the bike fall and deal with the cramp, or grit the teeth on the cramp and sort the bike.  Bike won out in the end - well the greenhouse glass did actually.

Still looking for a secondhand 140 or 150 17 inch tyre to hold the back wheel of the ground and fill a space for me so if anyone sees one let me know...

Another small step.  My 99p Aprillia RS125 rear caliper and mount arrived today - my they are corroded.  Still I can use the mount as a pattern to make a new one - RS125 has a bent swingarm, TZR has a straight one so the RS will not fit.  The caliper is sided to fit on the same side as the RS wheel and I can sell my TZR one - if I can get the RS one in bits.  So would seem like 1 step forward and ummm 10 steps back?  Mind I could just clean up the caliper and the mount and see if I could sell the lot and make a mount for the TZR one...despite the line going to the back etc.  Oh the choices I have to make.
