The srx kickstart lever is now unobtanium from yamaha....
The XT (early) 600 lever has the same splines, and a pinch bolt.
You will need to 'V' grind the pinch slot, fit to the shaft, tighten the bolt up until you can 'just' pull the lever off the splines, with it fitted, tack weld the outer edge of the slot, pull off the splines, remove the bolt, weld slot completely (but not right down to the splines), then grind off as much of the bolt lobe as you need to achieve clearance to the cases when the lever is in full depression.
Here ( is a pic of a bike I have in for repair, not sure what bike the lever came off, it was an XT of some sort, but all that was needed on this on, was to grind odd an angle on the bolt head.
The XT lever is no where near as elegant as the srx one, and doesn't rest in the correct place, bu it does work ok.
