So....poor old nigel falls to his death from the top of his stately home....and some home it must be!!....His scream lasted 3.5 seconds, a body in free fall will accelerate at 9.8 m/s/s, so nigel flew approximately 60m (something like 200 ft), some building!!!

Building wasn't that tall, but sadly for the unlucky swine, someone had left a manhole cover off a rather deep cesspit!

Yes, I wondered about that too, I'm amazed the production staff didn't think more about that. Having said that the whole 60th episode was a bit pants.

I heard Sandi Toksvig, she also said "The producer also let slip three major upcoming plot lines... so that's the next ten years covered then".  ::)

Yes but fair's fair, she hasn't spoiled the surprise by telling you what they are though, so you have a decade of suspense and thrills still  ;) ;D

Incidentally, talking of realistic portrayals of rural life, I see "Hot Fuzz" is on tonight, top film  ;D
