On the weekend of 9th 10th July I will be celebrating my Birthday at the Bishop's Castle beer festival. Currently Daniel and Boyd are committed to go [we'll be there from Thursday]. If anyone else would like to join us we will be camping here www.foxholes-castle.co.uk It would be great if a few Thumpers would like to join us. Who knows I may even buy some beer. If people are thinking of camping they should book early as I believe that the campsite will be full on that weekend.

Boyd and I found this place while we were checking possble sites for the annual rally. The annual rally site have promised us exclusive use of their field which was the clincher. Mart

I'd love to join you, but for some inexplicable reason the wife thinks our 35th wedding anniversary is more important and worthy of my attendance.

So apparently I'll be in France somewhere on the 10th (on pain of death no doubt).

Just got back home after another great weekend! Cheers to Dan, Mark, Ifor, Hillary, Janine, Howard and, the 'Birthday Boy' himself, Martyn for making it a weekend to remember. Excellent company, good campsite, picturesque town, lashings of tasty beer, good music, and only slight showers all came together brilliantly.

Many thanks for all the best wishes and to those attending. I think we all enjoyed it . I certainly did. The beer festival was awesome. Loads of different ales in six different pubs, didn't find one we didn't like,all with live bands. It's not my birthday till Tuesday that was just an excuse.Thanks again see you next year.
