Is everyone aware of this site?

It was originally free and my daughter kept nagging me to sign up (which I didn't get around to) and then it restricted its free access and only offered a £9.99 a month subscription, which I laughed at. They tried to sell this by saying that there wouldn't be any adverts if you paid the premium rate.

I'm guessing that not many people signed up because I hear it's gone back to being free to use with advertising paying the costs.

Originally in Spain it was by invitation only from existing users, now it's open to all with an ad every 8 or 9 tracks 

There are Premium services that must be paid for  but I'm too tight to bother

Thanks for prompting me to get onto Spotify, I've just spent an enjoyable half hour listening to The XX, The Cocteau Twins, s bit of Howling Wolf and some good 50's Jump Blues... happy days

Another Blues fan!
I listen to all kinds of music, but always go back to the blues 
Sonny Boy Williamson, Lightning Hopkins, Son House , Willie Dixon.... 
I really like the unique Jazz/Blues/Gumbo style of the good Dr John

My blues knowledge is a bit sketchy, but I go for the rougher end of the chicago blues spectrum, very electric but not too slick. Elmore James does it for me, as do Howling Wolf, John Lee Hooker and Muddy Waters. I also like the more swing-influenced Jump Blues stuff like Big Joe Turner and Amos Milburn.

You must like Muddy Water's 1977 album "Hard Again" produced by Johnny Winter; stripped-back electric Muddy..

On a digressive note, if you pick up a copy of the early Zepp albums on CD you will see that Willie Dixon is credited as a song writer on some of the tracks. I believe he had to sue them to get that one sorted though

Like Bob Dylan, on a recent album "Modern Times" claims to have written "Rolling and Tumbling"....

Bollocks bollocks bollocks. I've been listening to music all day now 

I've been having fun searching on song titles and digging out unusual cover versions. Highlight so far is a Gillian Welch countryish cover of Radiohead's 'Black Star'. All good stuff.
