Turned up some alloy bar to make some bar ends .

Sidepanels sprayed , only slightly better than they were before but at least its now my bad painting !

Replacement valve cover cap from Simmo fitted

Goodrich hose fitted but brake still feels a bit soggy to me - have left bungee around lever overnight to see if that improves things .

Checked mixture screw - which was wound all the way in to the stop  :-\ - not sure what's going on there , so have wound it out two turns to see how it behaves in the morning - used to always start very easily .......... ::)

No probs- thanks for the tappet settings- I have dropped the black bike off at my father in laws today to a toraid of abuse......

Maybe when he gets in the mood he'll have a look at the noisy top end- he is an excellent mechanic but a pain the the f*cking @rse
