Can any of you Thumper Vets tell me, what do the bolts look like that hold the seat cowl on?

Thanks

I haven't got any to hand to photograph, I'll see if I have some in the garage later.

On a GB they are the same bolts that hold the pillion strap, not sure on an XBR.

I am now doubting myself with the cross head chrome screw as on the xbr brochure there is a larger screw head about the size of an old 10p piece. It has one wide slot for a screw driver and a grip around the size to spin off by hand.

I will see if I have one and stick a picture on

God bless yer John (your my hero)

That means that anybody with a 2p coin can nick your hump!

I've looked at your frame painting photo's most impressed.

Has anybody thought of putting together a video diary start to finish, or is the discovery of something new the reason we take things apart?

Have you seen the condition of the XBR's for sale in Germany?
