XBR original exhausts - Goshi?
« on: January 26, 2010, 08:13:29 AM »

Hi- just bought some xbr 1-1 exhausts and they are stamped Goshi. Is this a manufacturer for Honda as I am sure they are originals?

Not really bothered I am just curious as they are nice exhausts anyway!!

Cheers

Never heard of them. My genuine Honda exhausts ( David Silver , no longer available) have HM MK4-E1 stamped on the top near the rear foot-rest and came in Honda packaging.

Where did you get them from? They could be a useful source as genuine ones aren't, as far as I know, available in the UK.

Got them off the guy on ebay breaking the red bike.
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HONDA-XBR-PETROL-TANK-IN-RED-WITH-TAP_W0QQitemZ140377242905QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Motorcycle_Parts?hash=item20af22bd19

see his other parts- he has whole bike (apart from exhausts and headlight rim!!) but engine is shot

They haven't arrived yet but he has sent pics and they look bang on original and in good nick.
Do you fancy phoning the Jap company to check availability?  ;)

The link took me to the home page and this message- "Data roles => Array,  for Simmo synced to Drupal."

Strange, it should have taken you to the FAQ section of this site.  ???

If you go to the navigation bar at the top of the page below the Thumperclub header and go to FAQ it's about 4 or 5 questions down 'how to upload your photos'.  That should tell you what to do. :)

Drupal is the framework I am using to build the site on. I thought the message above was restricted to Admin Users, I will try and remove it.

I have uploaded the picture but was hoping to get it just on the posting- anyway it's now the "latest image" and there for all to comment on- are they originals?

Having done a little more research, the answer may be  yes! It looks like Goshi do make exhausts for some models for Honda!

Goshi Exhausts

Either way they look like a good set!

I thought as much- I have never seen a copy company identically replicating an original set

I know this post is getting a bit old now, but for general information, I've just taken one of my genuine Honda ( Dave Silver)  exhausts off and I can confirm that they are stamped 'GOSHI' on the back.

So Goshi definitely make exhausts for Honda.  ;)
