C'mon guys, I've got a vehicle pass and tickets left here... doesn't anyone want to have a TC weekender?

Freddie Spencer will be there too...  ;)

Bruce, Boyd, Mark and Trevor, I posted your tickets today first class.

Would love too but cant be in two places at once and I've committed to Dent already. Isn't it always the way. You wait all year for a decent get together, then two arrive at the same time ;D

Just to let members know, this show was done very much on the cheap. but we did buy 8 Ikea spotlights (low wattage) and they have now been added to our show kit for future use. The total cost for the lights was just over £40.

I used my coffee machine (again!) for the show, but yesterday I found one similar for a fiver so I have bought it to use for future shows (I'll pay for that). I had bought a neat little folding table for the coffee machine prior to Stafford and we will keep that for future use too.

My thinking is that if we have enough gear to set up a show stand then we can easily (and cheaply) attend shows and treat them as beanos for the club members who come along. For Stafford we ended up with (iirc) 16 weekend passes and 9 vehicle passes for free.

I'm not sure we will ever do more than one or two shows a year, but we can't really go back to the days of spending hundreds of pounds on a stand every time.

Uttoxeter again next year anyone?

How about Cardiff show 2010, Graham ?

Think its May time again, local VJMC are organising. Saw an advert asking for interested parties to contact them.
Would do it myself but had no interest this year. Therefore thought I 'd canvass before registering for a stand this time, in order to avoid the embarassment of withdrawing, as before.

Definitely Uttoxeter, but what about:

Shepton Mallet in February (but does this clash with the Dragon?)
Stafford again in April?
Andrew Greenwood's show in Stoneleigh - I think it's in May.  This one used to be in February at Donington Park.

Count us in on Uttoxeter, we enjoyed that this year, bikes will have to be as ridden though, no trailer or van I think.

I have rec'd the cheque for expenses from Mortons so all those who exhibited bikes at Stafford can now be paid their (small) fee either by cheque or via Paypal. PM me with your preference.

Cheers
