Courtesy of eBay, I've added some weather protection to the outfit:

I think I've knocked about 10 mph off the top speed :-/  I also have to say I think it looked nicer before I put it on ;-)

Oh :-( I thought it spoiled the bike, at first, but it's growing on me now. It could do with being painted black - how do I make satin black paint stick to a plastic fairing?  Is there a primer I ought to use, or just spray it on and hope for the best.

Yes, it proved quite effective on its first run. I need to make a lower screen, as I'm looking through this one and getting a lot of buffeting. Disconcertingly, it reflects all the top end noise back at me. I really do need to gear the bike down now, and the wind resistance is noticeable.

There is a primer/s for use on plastic / GRP - but I cannot remember the spec or makes.
