oil at base of breather pipe

when i take my srx for ride i keep getting oil build up at base of engine breather pipe...it trickles down side of cases and onto floor when i stop...but stops once engine is cooled down...anyone got  explanations for what might be causing this ?

Aye beezer764,

Is the breather pipe clagged up with 'mayonaisse' or has it perished or hardened? Do you still have the naff rusting clip at the bottom, like I have? Overfilled the oil?

Sorry not to be more creative, but often its the simple things that are worth checking first. ;)
