DR not so BIG
« on: September 21, 2006, 08:05:14 PM »
My latest project DR 750 is now up and running, it passed it's MOT yesterday, was taxed online, and I've been rejetting the carbs this afternoon and it feels almost perfect. The aim was to build a lightweight DR750 using an RM250 front mudguard, a DR350 headlight, a DR650 Acerbis fuel tank and shortening the subframe to suit the dualseat, which resulted in no room for the airbox, so I fitted a pair of K&N's. It weighs in at 170kg with fuel.....about 25kgs less than it was......result.
I will send a photo to Steve H soon.

We look forward to the photo with interest. If it has been built to your usual standard then it should be a belter. GC
