kdx kawasakis?

evening all,

with the norton 'detonator' about to be given its orders, via e-bay, i'll have a space in the shed.

to be precise its a two-stoke off-roader shaped space in the shed.

does anyone have any experience of the Kwaker KDX bikes, 200 and 220?

Rode the RD500 off road a few times - winning against mere mortals in slow bike races at rallies - mere mortals on their trailies - so in my mind the best off road 2 stoke has to be an RD500 with big bars on it.

Not a useful answer I know

Yes, make sure you put *GOOD* synthetic two stroke in it. I have seen many a kdx200 with its piston smeared up the nickasil liner after the owner filled up with some cheap stuff at a service station. Not cheap to sort out and been responsible for the demise of many a poor kdx early...

Apart from that, they do take a lot of abuse and steer well, especially as they're overbored 125's with the resultant next to nothing weight, theyre also quite fun to ride if you can ever forgive the utter lack of low down torque, they need buzzing to make sense of. I quite like them...

200 is supposed to be the better of the two
