SRX 400 coil

Does anyone know where I can source a new coil for a 3vn srx400, and what sort of price do they go for? Please use small numbers as my bank manager is easily frightened.

Hello mate

You can have my complete 400 motor if you like.  Runs nice, its in glasgow.  £80, which is less than what I paid for it from another club member.

I hope your bank manager is appreciating 20 year old japanese motorcycles!!

cheers

andy

ps.  lots of other srx stuff- dress it up with a nice metallic green matching tank and side panels?  Or red if you prefer, with a choice of matching red race seat?!  ;-)  Or a silver standard tail unit.... or... ok, ok I'll stop the hard sell!

From memory the 3VN (mono) is diffrerent in that it has an earth and signal cable, but the twinshock has the single wire. (Could be wrong through)

Of course the oracle (SteveH) is correct, but generally, you can say any single pole coil should work, if you are in doubt, buy my spare (which i can guarantee works ok on a twinshock srx6) for ~ £20 + carriage

or do you need a coil for a monshock SRX?, think i have one of those somewhere too
