A recent conversation revealed this gem of an example of what has become of many of the UK's finest!

"What happened to me today sums up well, the mindset of some young people.
I had two pints of beer in the Crown Hotel
I paid by card no problem at all. I said to the bar tender could I please have change for this Ten pound note £5 and five pound coins please . He replied sorry we don't do cash back . I politely said it's not cash back it's a simple thing of giving change for a Ten pound note £5 and 5 pound coins, so that I can play a machine.
He said it would make his till wrong
I tried to explain it and it just didn't sink in to his head . This is what we are up against I just couldn't believe it."
And in another conversation, about the same topic.
" We had a lad in our local ALDI when asked, he didn't know what Frankfurters are. Another visit, same lad, didn't know what paper serviettes were!"
I have purposely posted in the 'Chatter', as these are actual occurences and would be funny, if they weren't so damning.
To lighten the post, 50 miles on the 450 today, on dry roads, but with a maximum temperature of 3°C, "it were a bit parky!". Grand sunset, clear as a bell, so best get the stove on, mug of 'Gunfire', as a restorative and set to giving the bike a wee clean. Just dust, nothing wet.
Good health, Bill
