NEC bike show
« on: November 23, 2024, 05:48:28 PM »
Well, having just returned from the NEC bike show I can safely say I won’t be rushing back to it next year. It’s been a few years since I went and my mate asked if I fancied going so said yes. There was nothing to see apart from bikes you could go and see in any bike showroom up n down the country. (If there’s any left to go to) Very few trade stands selling gear etc, certainly compared to what it used to be like. The price of the tickets were expensive PLUS you have to pay a separate parking fee, which again isn’t cheap.
It did seem reasonable busy though I must say, busier than I expected.
Think I’ll definitely be sticking to the Stafford show from now on.😉
Cheers, Michael

Thanks Michael, you have just saved me £40 plus as I was contemplating going this morning on the train. I was ever so slightly disappointed last time I went 2 years ago. Seems things haven't improved. I'll put that money towards restoring the Yam. Cheers Ian 👍

Like Ian, I last went two years ago. I found it all rather underwhelming and a mass marketing project.
I much prefer the Stafford scene.
