Thank you for your lovely comments. This one has been an exceptionally frustrating restoration, due to exorbitant increasing of prices of original parts and trying to get work done that is beyond my capabilities.

Believe it or not Michael the exhaust never had a mention 😱.
I think I'll make it a bit louder now 🤣.
When I got home I noticed a bit of misting from the RH fork seal (fork stanchions were rechromed along with new Yamaha seals/dust covers). On dismantling I found out that I had omitted the steel spacer that goes between the fork top bush and the oil seal. 🤭.
All sorted now with no fork leak. Phewww.
Just waiting for the registration  now. 🤞

Bike duly registered with age related plate ( first time of asking at the DVLA, but I did have to phone them up to ask what was a seemingly silly question,  however the gentleman I spoke to had all the time for me. Hats off to them!) Now done about 300 miles and climbing. I did swap the black 80mph GPS Speedo for the white 120mph GPS one.... don't ask!
Also the number plate has been discreetly trimmed down the LHS side since the pic was taken due to the suppliers machine not being able to produce an accurate symmetrical plate. I did get it cheap tho 😁

Yes… I can see that Ian. Think you’ve been ripped off. It’s just full of yellow paint. 🙄
