Now, this'll be a reet thumper!  ;D

Quote
After riding for almost 50 years without any identifying labels on the bike, and being asked "What kind of bike is that?", I finally put the BSA tank labels on a few weeks ago.
Then I was being asked "Is that a 250cc?"
I was looking around for the correct side panel labels, but could not find ones that I wanted to use (e.g., they were purple, or they were varnish-on, etc.).
Since it is a 90mm bore (573cc) B50SS, I decided to round-up and get some 600cc stickers for the side covers. They are a little bright, but I think they will fade out in the California sun. I believe they are intended for a Suzuki GSX, but at least now I should not have to say, "No, it is not a 250."

It's amazing now far Edward Turner's 150cc Terrier has been stretched!

Indeed it is, though I think the 200cc version is the best. I loved my Tiger Cub and could probably still kick it over. Unlike a B50!
