Reminds me a bit of an april fool story (probably in the Guardian) that suggested that the UK was going to change to driving on the right hand side of the road. But introduction was to be staggered, with bikes changing on one day, cars the next......

i heard that as happening in Ireland with HGV's on week one and the rest on week 3
