Not that I wish to incriminate myself but when they changed the button A or B phones to the grey 2p ones we had a way of supplementing our pocket money with an ice lolly (called suckers in Nottingham) stick and the coin return slot. Also it was easy to make free calls by tapping the phone cradle rather than dialling.
I wish to plead that I was led astray by bad company.
