Two for Ian (and anyone else)
« on: March 17, 2023, 08:07:16 AM »
There’s an SR with a bit of bite over on bike exif site and there’s also a SRX cafe racer for ones perusal over on return of the cafe racer site 👀
Cheers, Michael

Aye Michael,

Thank you for posting up the two bikes.

Here is the link for the SRX600: 1996-Yamaha-SRX600-cafe-racer

And a link for the "Tiger shark SR400": Yamaha-SR400-street-tracker

I do prefer the venerable SRX, but the SR might be more comfy, as long as you are wearing asbestos chaps!  ;)

Good health, Bill

both well executed bikes. street trackers aren't my cup of tea.
the quirky things i love about the srx are the sort of afterthought tacho mounting, the lovely finned oil tank , sadly both missing from this example... but a lovely looking job, pity return of the cafe racers don't give a riding report.
