Tony Foale SRX downdraught head modifications

Tony Foale, a well known Australian racer/nuclear engineer has recently published on his Facebook some images and graphs of cylinder head modifications/porting that he has carried out on an SRX engine. One of the correspondence in the conversation has posted an image of his BSA framed, SRX engined "Special" that I spoke with him at a Bob Mac race meeting at East Fortune, before COVID, so that would be 2019. That machine (BSA/SRX) has various Suzuki, Kawasaki parts included in the build.

a proper . highly detailed and described modification ... but would this just provide a marginal gain ? obviously a brilliant engineer.
