The YB100 I was given last year for helping the owner out with his GB400 is almost finished and is a runner
there are some photos of the build and a video of it running at the end.....

Good to see her run. A keeper or a sale to keep the electric on in the front room?😁

How about doing it up as a Fizzie on steroids?

That is a job well done. I am getting more and more interested in smaller, older jap bikes as just about everything else is out of my price range. Also with roads speeds getting lower and fuel getting pricier there's a lot of adventure to be had on a tiddler.
Lovely to see this Yamaha resurrected.

Crazyfrog and Moto63 although fizzies go for serious money the YB100 is getting rarer as most YB100 engines ended up in souped up fizzies
Itsme you are probably right the YB100 is good for 80+Mpg and 55Mph is plenty fast enough for most B and C roads, it would do quite nicely around this area

Yeah, really good little bikes. I've never had a YB, but I ran a similar RXS100 for a couple of years, about 10 years ago. It was brilliant - just like being 18 again, and surprised me how quick it was for a 100.
