Hi all

I feel it would be rather rude of me to not add my felicitations to this fine list.

Have a wonderful Christmas and let's hope for a brighter 2022 than the last couple of years.

Ian

What a cracking photo Bill. Is that your view from your house. If so you’re a lucky man 👍

Michael,

No, that is the view from the old and now by-passed A9 bridge across the River Earn at the bottom of the Cairney Braes, just east of Aberuthven (Abruthven).

However, once the wood at the back of our cottage was felled, we have a similar view across the fields to Ben Vorlich and to the east, the Sidlaw Hills. An image of our view west is attached.  ;)  Be aware that in both images I have used the 'Zoom' to frame the hills! ;)  The Ben is just shy of 30 miles to the west of us.

We had a flurry of snow between midnight and 01:00 this morning, so a "White Christmas" even though it had all disappeared by sunrise.  ???  Sunny spells today, but a biting easterly wind, gusting 20mph+ wasn't very pleasant. However, I did manage my 3 mile 'constitutional' through the fields.  ;D

Up in the Pennines/Forest of Bowland I suspect that you will get at least a dusting later today.

Good health, Bill
