Well I looked on Youtube and it seemed to suggest you can drill a tiny hole in the seal and screw in a small screw or tap in a nail and turn it though 90 degrees to pull the seal out? I tried and it did not work. I tried tapping it out with a socket I also tried inserting my spring puller into the hole and pulling it out but the rubber just tore so I phoned my friendly bike shop (QB Motor Cycles)as I was worried about scrapping the clutch cover and the workshop removed it "for me for drink". I had to buy a new battery (£50 for a Yuasa) which I also got from QB with a discount. Did a 25 mile run early evening and all is well now. No clutch slip, oil leaks and starter motor now works as it should following the new battery.
