Booked in for mine at 7.45 am on Tuesday. No idea which one. Get this-it's being done at a spiritualist church!

I went to a huge Nightingale Hospital at Washington. in and out in less than 20 mins, more staff than customers and they were all superb , more than I can say for the vaccination website....

Had my first jab (Pfizer) a few weeks ago through work and can't praise the staff at the centre enough, most of whom were volunteer nurses who had finished their normal shift then gone to the centre for another shift.

The only thing I laughed at was when the nurse brought the syringe to me she looked at my shoulder and said 'we're going to need a longer needle' (the vaccine has to be delivered right into the heart of the deltoid) and came back with a syringe with something akin to a javelin on it! Thanks to all those years in the gym for that.

Good to hear it is going ok elsewhere.

I'm a bit worried about side effects. Was this before or after you turned into Spartacus?🤪

Oooo I didn't think of that. It was about the time I took to wearing a leather kilt and carrying a short sword. Nah can't be connected surely.

I'm expecting to get called up in the next couple of months. In amongst all the negativity (and I've been as critical as anybody over the way the whole thing has been handled) , I have to say that the NHS and the govt deserve enormous credit for delivering the vaccine so quickly and efficiently. 👍
