Xbr500 sidestand

Hi, I think my 88'xbr may have the incorrect sidestand, it leans at a greater angle than previous xbr's I've owned.
Suspension is all std, with it on centrestand & with the sidestand out the foot is 80mm above the floor, would anyone be able to measure for me as a comparison?
Thanks
Chris

Mutt:
Mine does the same. The later year model leans over disconcertingly further than the earlier model. I measured the side stands on mine and mine were the same length - they did look odd side by side. I assumed that the angle of the frame mount had been altered but I've not looked at it any further. Could be a market for strap on side stand shoes??? Not just for XBR's....

SteveC#222:
From the ground to the front (highest) part of the 'foot' - 90mm

With the stand up - from the centre of the mounting bolt to back (lowest) part of the foot - 205mm

Thanks guys, ok so maybe the stand isn't wrong, the shoe is a good idea, with a 15mm piece of wood the lean is about right, ill make a shoe, maybe from black nylon & drill & tap the stand foot.
