Moving.....

Well this afternoon I have 4 people coming to view our house, only advertised on Friday. We have been here 30 years and it will be first time we have ever sold a house....it's a bit daunting.  If we manage to find a buyer we hope to move to Dumfries area, wish me luck, think I will need it. And probably a lot of Gin 😕

Best of luck with the potential sale and then the move that should / will hopefully follow. Have bought and sold approximately 7 houses over the years, it can be a tad daunting and never seems to really get any easier. However having said that I’ve never once regretted doing it. So stuck with  it and hopefully come next spring you’ll be in your new abode and thinking “happy days” best of luck 👍👍

We moved in January this year having lived in the same house for 35 years. It's amazing how much stuff you accumulate and we still haven't sorted everything out, but are both very pleased we made the move.

Dumfriesshire is lovely but surely a single malt would be more appropriate?

Well, we have had 12 viewings of the house, 6 this weekend and two of them want a return visit,I,m  not very hopeful but just have to wait and see....

Yeah... you’ll sell it mr spooky don’t you worry, mini housing boom at the moment because of the lockdown we’ve had, just about everything locally from the typical average terrace to the big detached houses are going like hot cakes. Every “for sale” sign now has the ‘sold” bit pinned on.... best of luck and in the words of Bon Jovi “keep the faith” 🤘

We were very lucky with our move - we had half a dozen offers, any of which we'd have been happy with, and the whole process from putting our old house on the market to moving in here took 3 months.
