Hi, am after a spoke set for my late XBR500 wire wheels. Definitely need the them for the front wheel and possibly back depending on how they clean up. Amazing what you uncover in lockdown, just need a bike to fit them to now..!!
Many thanks, Guy.

CMSL ( Netherlands) list spoke sets for the GB500 - not sure if they are the same as the XBR500SJ - I know the GB has a narrower front wheel than the Comstar wheel XBR's.

Also you could try Central Wheel Components who should be able to sort you out - Stainless spokes are probably the best way to go.

Hi Steve and Bill, thanks for the replies. Front rim is stamped 2.15, was the XBR 1.85?? Spares wise like Fowlers of Bristol CSMNL are showing that they are no longer available so Central Wheels could well be an option. :-)

Standard XBR front wheel rim is 2.15. The GB used a 1.85 rim.

Mash 500 (400cc) uses a 1.85 wheel. Possibly another source?

Although they look basically the same, there are a lot of small differences betweeen the XBR and the GB - frame, wheelbase and much more.

Yes.... very typical of Honda. Not a lot of crossover parts from model to model. Suzuki on the other hand, the complete opposite. Best of luck tho eightcans and keep us posted. Cheers, Michael

Thank you all for the replies and information. TBH having looked into the costs involved it make sense to move them on to someone who wants them so will offer on here first before ebay. As mentioned the front wheel definately needs respoking so I will take some pics and post them hopefully as I`m a technical numpty..!!
Cheers, Guy.
