Speedo drive cable

I need a shorter one for the XBR, but it doesn't look like I can easily snip the original and grind new flats? Anyone know how? Thanks.

Evening Matt... I would have thought it would be easier to get a full replacement cable that is the approx length you require. How about something like an CB250RS cable?..... maybe someone like Martin (xbally) might be able to offer some assistance by measuring his RS cable to see if it will do.
Other than that I’m out of suggestions...sorry
Keep us posted and best of luck 🤞
Cheers... Michael

Ta. It's pretty short at 25" for a fork mounting I might use. Otherwise, it's a central mounting which I love from the rider's view, but pretty much hate from the front.

Ah... I see. So if it’s a fork mounted speedo I’d be more inclined to be looking at trials/enduro bike speedo cables. Hope this helps 🤞🤞
