Sorry to have let TC matters slip of late. There's a constant thought in Voltaire's 'Candide' that you should work on your own garden, the gist of which is that it is often better to keep your attention on the smaller things around you because that is how you can best ensure your happiness.
Lately I have followed the advice and I have been working on a few things that matter to me, such as my marriage, my business and my home. Consequently all club business took a back seat.
However, things here at Castle Carrick (stonking tax bill aside) are better and I can turn my thoughts to all thigns thumper.
