surging throttle response
« on: December 09, 2014, 09:28:19 PM »
Hi all. Not sure if it's significant but I get a slight drop in power and it quickly returns. Surging kind of.
only when I hold throttle still in mid range rev or lower trying to hold speed through town.
any thoughts?

My MT-03 does something similar and I found that it is caused by an overly slack final drive chain. Once the correct amount of slack is set, then the problem seems to go.
I also blame it on the foibles of fuel-injection as my carbureted SRX doesn't do it.

No. Im pretty meticulous with the final drive. Seen what chains can do to toes. Ha
